The Government has warned Irish people travelling abroad to be cautious and vigilant as the US-led attacks on Afghanistan continue.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has also urged Irish citizens living in Pakistan’s lawless North-West Frontier Province to leave immediately.

The British Foreign Office has also advised its citizens to avoid Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.
