Time runs out of £2.7m Lotto winner
A £2.7m Lotto jackpot has gone unclaimed after the winning ticket-holder failed to collect his or her prize before today’s 5.30pm deadline.
The winning ticket was bought in north Dublin in June, but despite an advertising campaign urging the winner to come forward, the jackpot has gone unclaimed.
It is the biggest unclaimed jackpot in Irish Lotto history.
The money will now be put back into the prize pool for future draws.
