Hillary Clinton's proposed visit to Ireland postponed
New York Senator, Hillary Clinton, has cancelled her plans to travel to Dublin tomorrow because of the recent terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
Mrs Clinton was to visit here to strengthen business links between Ireland and the Irish-American community in New York. She now hopes to make the trip to Ireland early in the New Year.
Senator Clinton was due to address delegates at a Dublin Chamber of Commerce dinner in Dublin but because of her commitments in New York, she will now make the address to the 1,200 delegates via a satellite link.
