Search for ferry passenger who fell overboard is scaled down

The air and sea search off the Co Wexford coast for a female passenger who fell from a ferry last night is being scaled down this afternoon.

The woman was reported missing from the Stena Galloway at about midnight as it travelled to Fishguard in Wales.

Helicopters from both sides of the Irish Sea and the Rosslare lifeboat have all been involved in the search and rescue operation but as yet there has been no sign of the missing woman.
