Taoiseach leads Boland tributes

The Taoiseach has led tributes to former Fianna Fail minister Kevin Boland, who died yesterday.

Mr Boland, who was 84, first served under Eamonn de Valera and is best remembered for his controversial resignation from government during the arms crisis.

Mr Boland withdrew from his post in protest at the sacking of Charles Haughey and Neil Blaney by Taoiseach Jack Lynch.
