Pipe bomb explodes in Derry

A pipe bomb has exploded at a golf course in the north.

Army bomb disposal experts were called to the Moyola Golf Club at Castledawson, Co Derry, after a suspicious object was discovered at the 17th hole.

It was found to be a pipe bomb which had detonated inside a metal bin on a tee box.

No one was injured and police inquiries are underway.
