The time is running out for the political parties of the North to nominate members to the new police board which is intended to hold the new Police Service of Northern Ireland accountable to the public.

The time is running out for the political parties of the North to nominate members to the new police board which is intended to hold the new Police Service of Northern Ireland accountable to the public.

So far, only the SDLP have put three names forward with Sinn Fein refusing to do so. The UUP are still holding talks on the issue and the DUP are believed to be holding back until the UUP makes a decision.
