RUC calls off west Belfast dig

The RUC has called of its search of two houses in west Belfast after it failed to turn up the bodies of two schoolboys who disappeared 27 years ago.

Experts had been digging on the premises in Rodney Drive in the hope of finding evidence that would lead to the bodies of 11-year-old Thomas Spence and 13-year-old John Rodgers.
