Excavation work resumes in search for boys

Excavation work will resume at two houses in West Belfast today as part of the search for two schoolboys who went missing in 1974.

The RUC are still questioning a 67-year-old man who is already serving a sentence in Maghaberry Prison in connection with the disappearance of 13-year-old John Rogers and 11-year-old Thomas Spence.

Layers of concrete and tarmac have been removed and heavy equipment has been brought in to aid the operation.
