Teenager hurt in north Belfast hit-and-run

The RUC is investigating a hit-and-run in north Belfast which left a 19-year-old man with head injuries, broken bones and bruises.

The RUC is investigating a hit-and-run in north Belfast which left a 19-year-old man with head injuries, broken bones and bruises.

The teenager was dragged along the road when he was struck by a car shortly before midnight last night.

The car involved in the incident on the Shore Road has still not been located.

Earlier this week, 16-year Thomas McDonald was killed when he was struck by a car in the White City area of north Belfast.

A 32-year-old woman has been charged with murder in connection with the incident.
