245 IT workers laid off in Dublin

Another 245 IT workers in Dublin are to lose their jobs at financial services company First-E.

In a statement, parent company Banque d’Escompte said it plans to close its Internet channel in Britain and Germany at the end of next month and concentrate on the French market.
