Five sets of twins in same class

Five sets of twins have enrolled in the same infants class at a school in Co Wicklow.

Three of the sets at St Joseph's National School in Baltinglass, County Wicklow, are identical.

Local priest, Father Gary Doyle, said it was "something out of the ordinary".

The five sets who arrived on the first school day were Holly and David Hamill, Tom and Pat Burke, Stephen and James Quinn, Peter and David Gethings and Michelle and Rebecca Foreman, said reports.

School principal Tom Hanafin said: "The last time I had a set of twins in my class, it took me six months to suss out who was who."
