British army explosives experts were called in today to defuse a pipe bomb left at a Catholic school in the Ballysillan area of north Belfast.

British army explosives experts were called in today to defuse a pipe bomb left at a Catholic school in the Ballysillan area of north Belfast.

The device was left close to a Catholic primary school, where children have been at the centre of a tense row between parents and loyalists who blocked the route before the summer.
