A 17-year-old man has been charged with assault causing serious harm in connection with an attack in Limerick city on Tuesday.

A 17-year-old man has been charged with assault causing serious harm in connection with an attack in Limerick city on Tuesday.

William Moran, of Clare Street, Dublin Road, Limerick, turned himself in to Gardai yesterday afternoon. The victim of the assault, 18-year-old Jonathon Edwards, remains on life-support in hospital with head injuries caused by an iron bar.
