Monaghan Poultry to review its operation and satisfy Govt demands

Management at Monaghan Poultry Products have met Department of Agriculture officials in an effort to have their operating licence restored.

The company lost its licence because of problems with hygiene and cooling procedures at the plant.

A spokesman for the department said the company has agreed to seriously review the way the factory operates on a daily basis.
