Man due in court over Co Offaly murder

The man arrested in connection with last week’s murder in Belmont, Co Offaly is due to appear before a special sitting of Nenagh District Court this afternoon.

It is unclear what charges the man will face.

25-year-old Michael Rosney died after being shot in the chest during a party at a house in Belmont, near Birr, on Thursday night.
