Murder victim suffered single stab wound
A post mortem on the 20-year-old stabbed to death in Dublin early this morning has revealed that he died from a single stab wound to the chest.
Declan Gavin, from Mourne Road in Drimnagh, was attacked and killed close to the Crumlin shopping centre.
He became involved in a row with a man who had been driving a silver Nissan Micra.
Mr Gavin was able to plead with customers and staff of a nearby takeaway, but lost his life a short time later.
Gardai are conducting door to door inquiries and appealing for witnesses to the incident.
