Traffic congestion as Slane concert gets underway

Today’s U2 concert at Slane castle is underway.

About 80,000 music fans are expected to attend the event.

The first of six bands on the bill took to the stage at 12:30.

Major traffic congestion is being reported on approach roads into Slane village and travelling motorists are advised to be patient.
