Gardai hunt Dublin bank raiders
Gardai in Dublin are hunting two raiders who escaped with about £40,000 in cash following a security van robbery.
The incident occurred at around 10.30am as the van made a delivery of cash to the Allied Irish Bank in Capel St.
It was approached by two men, one of whom was carrying a shotgun.
The pair, who wore dark boiler suits and motor bike helmets, threatened security staff and grabbed a bag of cash.
They then made off on a motorbike, which was abandoned a short time later in nearby Lower Dominic St.
It is understood they then switched to a waiting 01 D-registered silver car.
