Man arrested after Co Kildare ecstasy seizure

Gardai in Co Kildare have arrested a man in his mid-20s following the seizure of 2,000 ecstasy tablets near Naas last night.

The drugs were discovered when detectives from the Newbridge Drugs Unit stopped and searched two cars in the Kill area at around 8pm.

Three men were arrested after the finds, but two have since been released without charge.

The other, believed to be from Clondalkin in Dublin, is still in custody in Newbridge.
