Man dies in Co Limerick accident

A man in his fifties has died following a three-vehicle collision in Co Limerick this morning.

An articulated truck collided with a car and a lorry on the Limerick side of O'Rourke's Cross, on the main Limerick to Charleville road.

The lorry-driver died in the accident which occurred at 7.15am.

The deceased, who has not yet been named, was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital.

No-one else was injured in the crash.
