British Govt to publish policing plan
The British Government will today publish its implementation plan for policing reforms in the North.
The 75-page document is believed to contain plans to phase out the RUC reserve and to close certain holding centres and barracks.
However, both Sinn Fein and the SDLP have said the proposals do not go far enough, while the UUP has warned against scaling down the reserve in the current climate.
