Unionists react to IRA statement

Unionists in the North have reacted with anger to the IRA’s decision to withdraw its landmark proposal for putting weapons beyond use.

Despite the fact that his party rejected the importance of the IRA move, Ulster Unionist Jeffrey Donaldson said this morning’s statement proves the IRA has no interest in peace.
