Post mortems on Limerick assault victims
Post mortems are taking place on the bodies of two men, who died in separate assaults in Limerick city over the weekend.
A 24-year-old man died from stab wounds sustained during an attack in the Moyross estate early this morning.
A 31-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was found unconscious in the Mount Kennith Place area of the city this morning.
A 45-year-old man also died yesterday, two days after being assaulted on a lane way between Dominic Street and Parnell Street.
Inspector Gerard McNamara of Roxboro Garda station is investigating the death, but says the motive is not yet known.
