Hunger strike march blocked by Loyalists
Loyalist protestors have blocked a road in north Belfast to prevent a republican hunger strike march.
The blockade was in response to the Apprentice Boys being refused permission to pass through the nationalist Ardoyne area yesterday.
Police prevented the club from driving down the Crumlin road in Ardoyne, saying the move constituted a parade and breached a ruling by the Parade's Commission.
The Apprentice Boys plan to seek a judicial review into the decision, which prevents them travelling to the main parade in Derry.
