Reid signs order to re-establish institutions

Northern Secretary John Reid has signed the order restoring devolved power to the Northern Assembly after 24 hours of direct rule from Britain.

Dr Reid suspended the Assembly yesterday to avoid new elections which could cause the Good Friday Agreement to collapse.
