Serious injuries in Drogheda road accident

A number of people have been injured in a serious road accident on the main Dublin-Belfast road.

Emergency services are on the scene two miles north of Drogheda.

First reports indicate that an ambulance and three cars are involved.

Meanwhile Gardai have not yet named the two young men killed when their car struck a tree in Co Mayo overnight.

The men, aged 19 and 20, are believed to be from the Westport area.
