USI to highlight dangers of STDs

The Union of Students in Ireland has revealed plans to distribute health packs highlighting the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases to first-year students this autumn.

50,000 sexual awareness packs will be handed out during the first week of the new college term at the end of next month.

The packs are designed to educate students about the danger of STDs and the importance of safe sex.
