Statement is 'hugely historical': Adams

Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams has said that the decommissioning body's statement on IRA arms is a "hugely historical breakthrough".

He made his remark away from the glare of cameras at a function organised by the Relatives for Justice group and did not refer to the statement in his on-camera speech.
