Sinn Fein Ard Chomhairle to meet in Co Louth today

The Sinn Fein Ard Chomhairle will meet in Co Louth today to discuss the Irish-British proposals aimed at saving the peace process.

The proposals were presented to all the pro-Agreement parties earlier in the week and spell out the need for arms decommissioning.

Last night, Sinn Fein's Gerry Kelly said the deal is too vague and that they cannot give a definitive response until they see more details on the issue of policing.

Today's early morning bombing, which police are already blaming on the Real IRA, is also expected to be on the agenda.
