Hunt begins for Dublin raiders

Gardai are hunting two armed raiders who got away with around £20,000 in cash from a house in Blackrock, Co Dublin last night.

Around 35 members of the 'Women Empowering Women' sales group were holding a meeting in the house at the time, when the two men, armed with a sledgehammer and a handgun, burst in.

They ordered the women to lie on the floor, before discharging a shot and escaping with the money, which was contained in a bowl.

No one was injured and the men fled in a jeep.
