RUC chief dismisses link between dissidents and IRA

The RUC chief constable, Sir Ronnie Flanagan, says he does not believe there is any significant co-operation between dissident republicans and the mainstream IRA.

Mr Flanagan also said he did not believe that the Sinn Fein leader had any advance knowledge of the Omagh bombing.
