Gardai identify body washed up on shore

The body of a man washed up on the shore ten days ago at Treemount Bay near Moville, Co Donegal, has been positively identified by gardai.

He was 69-year-old Robert McEwan of Knocklyon Drive in Templeogue, Dublin.

Mr McEwan had been fulfilling a lifelong ambition to sail from Dublin around the coast to Rathlin Island off the Antrim coast when he went missing.
