The Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, has agreed to meet the loyalist UDA to try to end the violence in Belfast.

It follows the shooting dead of a teenager in Co Antrim last night.

The loyalist group, the Red Hand Defenders, has claimed the responsibility for the shooting of Gavin Brett outside a GAA club in Glengormley.
