Gardai have launched an investigation into the discovery of the body of a new born baby in Limerick.

Gardai have launched an investigation into the discovery of the body of a new born baby in a Limerick field.

The body was found in the Garryowen area by young children who were playing in a green area, shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
