Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has insisted that most unionists support the Good Friday Agreement and said it would be childish for his party to simply walk away from the peace process.

Mr Trimble said Jeffrey Donaldson and Daivd Burnside's decision to abandon the current negotiations is not the correct response.
