Flatley to retire tonight
Riverdance star Michael Flatley is to quit dancing after a show tonight in Dallas, Texas.
The 43-year-old has enjoyed seven years of super stardom since Riverdance wowed the world as the interval performance at the Eurovision in 1994.
Flatley was the first American to win the World Irish Dance Championships and has since won more than 120 titles in 13 countries.
The high-points of his career include a record-breaking 21 sell-out shows at the Wembley Arena.
Earlier this year, he revealed plans to star in and co-write a movie version of his Lord of the Dance show.
