Youth to be charged with Bangor murder

A 17-year-old youth is due to appear in court tomorrow charged with murdering a pensioner in Bangor, Co Down last Wednesday.

70-year-old Frederick McMahon died on Thursday after receiving serious head injuries during an attack in the Castle Park area of Bangor the previous evening.

The youth accused of Mr McMahon's murder will appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
