Irish girl dies in US boat accident
A Co Wicklow girl has been killed in a freak boating accident in the United States.
Kate Kinsella, from Baltinglass, was with friends on a working holiday at Martha's Vineyard in Cape Cod.
The accident happened when Ms Kinsella and a group of up to 40 others of which at least five, were of Irish origin, were on a boating excursion on Sunday.
The boat was involved in a minor collision which resulted in a door striking the 20-year-old, knocking her into the water.
Kate Kinsella attended school in Carlow and was training in Dun Laoighaire to become a Montessori school teacher.
As a mark of respect, a planned mart sale at Baltinglass has been postponed tomorrow.
It's not yet known when the girl's body will be brought home.
