Court told Lawlor has no documents for bank transactions

The High Court has been told that there is no documentation for large volumes of banking transactions involving Liam Lawlor.

The transactions were not casual, but involved large sums of money, the court heard.

Judge Thomas Smyth spent the weekend reading over three boxes of fresh documents that came to light last week.

He will hear further evidence today before making a ruling.

The Dublin West TD could be returned to jail if the court is convinced that he has not co-operated with the Flood Tribunal since January.
