Man dies after cliff fall in Clare

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out today on the body of a man in his early twenties which was found in Co Clare yesterday.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out today on the body of a man in his early twenties which was found in Co Clare yesterday.

The body of the man was discovered at the foot of a cliff on the Milltown side of Lahinch beach by two people who were out walking at 6.30pm yesterday.

The rescue service from Doolin recovered the body from the rocks at the base of the cliff.

Gardai believe that the death was accidental after the man fell 25 feet from the top of the cliff.
