Belfast homes attacked with nail bombs
Two homes in Belfast were attacked with nail bombs last night.
The first device was thrown at a house on Deer Park Road, in the north of the city, at around midnight. A number of people who were in the house escaped injury.
The second device was left on the windowsill of a house on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast, but nobody was in the house at the time.
Elsewhere, the RUC arrested a small number of stone-throwing residents in the Greencastle and Bombay Street areas of the city, but there was no repeat of Monday night's riots.
