Court defers sentencing in Ennis killing
The Central Criminal Court has deferred sentencing two Claremen for manslaughter until next Monday.
Michael Nihill, from Church Drive, Clarecastle, and Joseph O'Halloran, also from Clarecastle, but with an address in London, both pleaded not guilty to murdering another man, Michael Shannon, but admitted manslaughter.
Mr Shannon, from Ennis, was beaten to death in a car park in the town on April 2, 2000.
