Ibiza boating victim named

A Co Roscommon who died in a boating accident in the Balearic Island of Ibiza has been named.

Mr Declan Frain (28) from Ballaghadereen, was on a boat trip off the Ibiza coast when the accident happened.

Reports say Mr Frain jumped off the craft into the water and that friends dived in to try and rescue him when he failed to resurface.

The man’s family is now travelling to Ibiza to retrieve his body.
