Gardai arrest man in Co Wexford
Gardai have arrested a man in Wexford as part of their investigations into the activities of dissident republican groups.
The man is being held for questioning under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and he is expected to appear before the Special Criminal Court later this afternoon.
Earlier in the week, Gardai arrested two Kildare men in relation to a search that spread through counties Carlow, Laois and Kildare.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition was discovered in search as well as mortars and combat equipment in what is believed to be a training camp for the Republican group, the Real IRA.
