Health care forum being held in Dublin Castle

Hundreds of Doctors and medical workers are attending a forum on the national health care system at Dublin Castle today.

The one-day session was opened by the Minister for Health, Michael Martin and will examine ways of reforming the health service in Ireland.

Minister Martin told the forum that all Irish health care workers had a responsibility to create a healthy Irish nation.

The forum will discuss what new direction the new health service must take and it is likely to form the Government’s new health care policy.
