Drumcree quiet as Orangemen are re-routed

Orangemen have again been turned away from the blockades at Drumcree bridge.

Thousands watched as the Orange leaders handed a letter of protest to an

RUC officer at the foot of the barricade.

A £6m security operation, involving hundreds of British troops is continuing in the wake of the parade.

At the blockade, Grand Master Robert Saulters described what was happening as a slap in the face. So far, the re-routing of the march has been quiet.
