Trimble apologises for murder comments
The Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has withdrawn comments he made yesterday claiming republicans had murdered 19-year-old Ciaran Cummings in Antrim on Wednesday.
Mr Trimble said he had seen press reports of RUC statements that loyalists had been responsible for the murder.
He added that clearly the information he had received had been inaccurate.
Mr Trimble also apologised to the victim's family.
