The Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble has withdrawn comments he made yesterday claiming republicans had murdered 19-year-old Ciaran Cummings in Antrim on Wednesday.

Mr Trimble said he had seen press reports of RUC statements that loyalists had been responsible for the murder.
