Loyalist splinter group claims shooting

The outlawed loyalist Red Hand Defenders have said they were responsible for this morning's shooting dead of a 19-year-old Catholic man in Antrim this morning.

The outlawed loyalist Red Hand Defenders have said they were responsible for this morning's shooting dead of a 19-year-old Catholic man in Antrim this morning.

The group made the claim in a call to a television station in Belfast.

Ciaran Cummings was shot dead by a gunman on the back of a motorcycle as he waited for a lift to work.
