Residents had suggested Drumcree compromise

Garvaghy Road Residents spokesman Breandan Mac Cionnaith claimed the Parades Commission had no other option but to ban Sunday’s Orange march.

He confirmed that the residents had put their own compromise to the Orange Order through South African mediator Brian Currin.
